Would love to see how you have time for health and fitness in addition to med school, so maybe some what I eat in a day/fitness vlogs?! Thanks for your inspiration and always keeping it real! :)

Daily vlogs, you motivate me (even if it’s just your gym sessions.) and I love it.

I was born and live in Italy and my suggestion is... be ready, because it's uncommon to find people who speaks English or even understand that. So be prepared, especially if you go in the south (I'm from Sardinia >_> I know what I say). So... study your way to move around.
Ah, one bigger difference probably would be... you don't pay for medical treatment in here. If you feel sick you can go to the doctor on call (just look for "guardia medica" and seek the address of your zone). If you get injured you can go to the hospital in the emergency room and they'll take care of you, you have to pay just what we call the ticket (around 50 euros).
Most of cities and little towns have potable water, so you can drink and refill your bottle even in a casual tap during your trip. Just check to be sure, ofc.
Pay attention while moving in the night if you are in a little town: not every place has bus/metro to move past 11pm-12am, so be sure to check the viability or setup a plan b.
Electronic payment is less common than the rest of Europe... we use a lot the cash here, so take some with you, just in case.
Ah and remember to take converter for your electrical outlet!

Hope you are gonna have a lot fun! Sardinia is really nice, especially if you love adventures, sea, grottos and trekking in the thick mediterranean forest, but I don't suggest it because the cost to reach the island is embarassing... even who lives here pays A LOT to move. But Italy is all beautiful, you are gonna see a lot of art, history, even if my government was never so good to take care of this heritage. Best luck to you and George for your trip <3 hope we are gonna see some summer adventures of yours :)

I recently went to Italy and by far my favorite place was along the Amalfi Coast! There we went to Positano, Sorrento, and Capri.
