I think Jamie said it best: "Alexa, fill the kettle." I am fully on his side on this one.

Me: "Are they really 'normals' anymore after all of this???"
Jamie: "Butter... pot? Butter... tray?"

Not in Australia, thats just a longer way to make clarified butter

Im going to agree with Jamie on the tea gadget. That is one of my pet peeves, "smart" gadgets that remove control and functionality. If i cant get a machine to automate the exact process i prefer, then it isnt smarter than doing it myself

I feel like we need a series that combines this series and pretentious ingredients: Pretentious Kitchen Gadgets or something like that.

Jamie sounds like he's breaking up with the kettle at the end, "it's not you, it's me"

In 5 years, what percentage of "smart" appliances will still have working apps that are supported by the company? That's the number one reason I shy away from the internet of things, you can rely on it to be temporary.

I have a multi-pot lid where instead of the smallest size being in the middle it is on the side, that completely solves the handle issue, I got it from aldi for $6.

I loved Ben's comment about how Jamie is a dad but sounding like his parents. And yet I, a 22 year old, agree with Jamie about that kettle
It's a novality.

Sorted team, apart from the world class content you guys deliver, I want to thank you for always including English subtitles. I know it’s troublesome but you guys have a wonderful heart to make your videos so accessible to as many people as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ You guys saved my 2020 😌

When Ben gives those product descriptions I am never sure whether they are real or whether he makes them up on the spot, because they always contain many words that I would imagine Ben using in exactly these circumstances
