I’m a believer, but since when does a naturally occurring eclipse last almost three hours? They last about 5 minutes. God caused the darkness (which is mentioned in secular texts) and He didn’t need the moon to block the sun to do it.

I dont need proof of Jesus. I love him, believe he left his spot in heaven to be born from the virgin Mary. He came to teach us the truth, to make a way into Gods kingdom for eternity by being the ultimate sacrifice for our sin, died on that cross, then rose from death, defeating satan for evermore. What a wonderful, undesirable blessing it is for me to be called by God to accept His gift of mercy and salvation. If Jesus is for me, nothing and no one will be against me. Im so grateful.

Maybe I'm reading the wrong Bible version. The one I read states in Matthew 27:45 "From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land." Further googling would suggest the day started at 6am, so both versions are talking about 12pm (noon) until 3pm. It should be noted that the eclipse that NASA refers to is a lunar eclipse not a solar eclipse. A lunar eclipse happens at night and casts a shadow on the moon, not a darkness of the Earth. Therefore the makers of this video may want to do some more research.

The crucifixion occurred during the Passover feast. The Passover always happens in conjunction with a full moon. It is impossible for a solar eclipse to happen in conjunction with a full moon.
