"The new study revealed that sunlight compresses hydrogen atoms in the geocorona on Earth’s dayside, and also produces a region of enhanced density on the night side. The denser dayside region of hydrogen is still rather sparse, with just 70 atoms per cubic centimeter at 60 000 kilometers above Earth’s surface, and about 0.2 atoms at the Moon’s distance."

I asked my physics professor once infront of class why doesn't the moon light make a light spectrum when it passes through a prism, but sunlight does? If the moon light is just the sunlight passing through the moon? He said he didn't know and he failed me in the final exam. I looked over my test, and corrected all his mistakes with proof from the text books and highlighted them with page references. I went from an F to a C. Just because someone is a college professor doesn't mean they know everything. You have to figure out things for yourself sometimes.
