Google has really nailed it with pricing imo. The 6A is a great value phone that undercuts even the iPhone SE in terms of pricing and is in many ways better than the SE. The 7A justifies its higher price with the better internals and display. The 7 starts to get into diminishing returns territory, but is still significantly cheaper than other flagships. The value proposition on these phones is just better than its competitors.

It appears that the Sony IMX362 sensor continues to perform exceptionally well from the Pixel 2 to the Pixel 6a.✌

I always admired the look of the Pixel 7 series. That metal strap in the back is both functional and cosmetic, and for me it works.

6A so far has been an amazing phone.
Few drawbacks coming from huawei p30:
Network strength - terrible. I couldnt send a small video from a shopping mall for 60 minutes. People sometime hear some strange noises while talking to me.
Main screen of the phone has a small date numbers which cannot be removed from the screen.
Apps become unresponsive at times.
Only 1 app open- it just freezes and you can just close it and reopen in order to work.
Battery is average. A day of use is almost certain but for example p30 had me for 2 days with no problems.

I massively cracked the screen of my S21 and was looking for a replacement that was a bit more affordable. I think this might be the one! Great review. As always

I got the 6A at the end of last year, I may never go back to another brand I fell in love with it. I'm wondering if I should get the most out of my 6A and wait for the 8A or say screw it and get the 7A.

I was gonna buy 7a but Now after seeing the reviews I will rather stick to my 3a. The best phone I have ever had still going strong after 4 years. Fast And reliable fingerprint reader, great camera, unlimited google photo storage and battery that can still last one day and fully charges in less than one hour. I am afraid I would regret ditching it for a new one....

I had to come and check out your video! Great video. I think they should have kept the pricing more affordable.

There's a lot of new features, from the 6a to 7a, 4k recording on front facing camera, face unlock, camera upgrades all around, wireless charging, better chip, 90 hertz refresh rate. It's just a better phone all around, and that's allot of difference's. I forgot it also has 8 gigs of ram instead of 6.

Google's condition is same like Samsung, when S21 fe available at 350 who will purchase A54 at 450? Same here when pixel 7 is available at 450 who will purchase 7A at 500?

90 Hz, Wireless charging, Face Unlock. Definitely worth the extra $50 for the 7a... Not to mention more RAM and bigger cameras

Thank you for the review. I always love watching them. I will say I felt like the picture and camera quality looked better on the A54. I've never used anything but Samsung since I left my Blackberry days so I can't make a reasonable judgement. Thanks again.

Why doesn't anyone mention the limited 128gigs of storage space on these phones? It drives me crazy! It's all just praise, for the most part. 128gigs is simply not enough in 2023! I don't care what the price is. Android system updates and patches, file sizes and pictures plus apps etc, we need 256 as an option. If that was an option I'd buy. But 128gigs is not enough for me if I'm keeping the phone for 2 years. Why no one mentions this just baffles me.

I usually don't upgrade my a-series pixels until Google does their big yearly(ish) offer. Normally the trade-in for the latest a-series is insultingly low, like $100 in perfect condition. But once in a while they offer a much larger trade-in value along with a discount on the new a. Instead of $400 to upgrade through Google, it goes down to $150-$200. If you're a pixel owner, I would highly suggest waiting for those times of year to upgrade. It's clear that Google wants to push upgrade sales, and you definitely want to take advantage instead of just buying new when they come out.
