Judge Destroys New York's Concealed Carry Ban on Private Property

The Christian v. James case challenges a New York law that banned carrying guns in many public and private places, even for people with concealed carry permits.

After the Supreme Court's Bruen decision, which strengthened the right to carry firearms, New York passed a law that made almost all public areas, including private businesses open to the public, gun-free unless the owner specifically allowed it.

A judge ruled that this law goes against the Second Amendment because similar restrictions didn’t exist in 1791.
This decision is part of a growing pushback against anti-gun laws in states like California and Hawaii.

In the 1870s New York City and the state of New York gave grants to a group of sport shooters to start the NRA. That's a fact. In the 1870s shooting as a sport was so popular in New York State that gun safety was taught in basements of churches. Priests encouraged it and the city never objected. What it comes down to is this. These judges and politicians are breaking the law, plain and simple. You say it's not but it is. If we break the law, we have consequences! They are breaking the law, they need to be held to the same standards as the rest of the people! We need law enforcement to address these individuals just as they would anyone else.

They should also force New York City to recognize the state pistol license and its counties, because people from Suffolk, Westchester, Orange, Rockland and all the counties surrounding New York City cannot carry their firearms., and that is a violation of Bruen decisions, a state with double standards, criminals are rewarded and good citizens are punished, thanks to Kathy Hochul and her legislators.

Drivers license is a privilege …yet it’s ok to drive in any 50 states. The civil rights carry that is issued needs to be held to the same and it’s not a privilege it’s a constitutional Right

If the SCOTUS hears the Maryland case, can their ruling include something to the effect that "all firearms, along with their parts, accessories, and acoutrements, are implicated by the Second Amendment. If they are found to be in common use for any lawful purpose, they can not be banned".
A statement along those lines would seem to cover suppressors suppressors, standard capacity magazines, and anything else associated with firearms.
