So cool that the hieroglyph for 'drill' basically shows you how to make one.

This channel deserves so much more love. The hours put into the stonework demonstrations & reproductions shows incredible dedication.

Well done but I think you've been struck off Graham Hancock's Christmas card list once again.

The ancient Egyptian's had this technology, and knew how too use it. They also knew how to cut stone's, to build pyramids, temple's, statue's,
with skilled craftsman, who are dedicated to their work.
This kind of dedication is
extremely rare theses days!

My deepest appreciation to the folks who made these videos!!!
-So much ancient tech lunacy spreading around and becoming popular
. . .this sort of visual debunking is so incredibly effective at dispelling that sorta nonsense!
👍 ✌ 🖖

The process is virtually 'written on the wall', but alternative history fans ignore all that and say 'only machines'!

now show how they manufactured copper pipes.

Those that believe humans needed aliens to build the pyramids, etc, do a great disservice to the ingenuity, genius, and tremendous amount of hard work of the ancients. The pyramids showed the ancient world that together, we can literally move mountains.

So that's how they make holes.
That makes a lot of sense in the drawing.
Only if you could read the writing on the walls.

Keep it up! I absolutely love your videos. I'll continue watching your method of busting myths and I hope that some of the people spreading the myths will watch also! Thank you!

all it takes is some ingenuity, time and effort. no need for ancient tech or aliens. thanks, guys! now, the full

This is very interesting concept, the only problem I see is that the metal tip thats cutting into the granite would have to be available manufacture with bronze age tools.

Some of these tube drills are also cut with a perfect helix which suggests it was cut with a consistent speed in a fixed position.

I'm not sure if this demonstration would leave such markings you see on those cores that have been found.

If anyone can explain a method that shows the same perfect helix without using anything manufactured in the modern day I would be very impressed.

So I guess it would have taken just a few days to hollow out the Saqqara boxes. Given that it is really easy to do it in parallel... it’s kinda disappointing in a way. All they needed was a series of closely spaced holes for the outer perimeter, and just enough on the inside that they can break off large pieces....

Like cuts like. Granite paste cuts granite.
Why is that so hard to understand for the LAHT crew?

Just a historical aside. Some have questioned as an example using the techniques illustrated in videos as relates to = holes in blocks on the side - and how does that then work. The obvious answer of course is = the holes were drilled first from the top down and the block was then turned prior to placing it.

What need of holes in blocks after all??? Again the obvious answer is they likely once held wooden posts for gates or framing etc.. Next point. Ancient Egyptian sites often were destroyed or added to centuries later. Also they served as "raw material" to build other things. Pharaohs would cannibalize an old site for stone to build something they wanted - or other "stone thieves" would do the same. Lots of Egyptian sites were cannibalized millennia later for their stone to build say forts of Mosques by the then Arabs who controlled Egypt. These people of course by then were using steel tools.

So if you see a random block with a hole(s) in it for no apparent purpose then you might be looking at something built from blocks = taken from other constructions that were repurposed long after the fact Not all Pharaohs - and later Viziers - had "deep pockets". So to save money it was not uncommon for stone to be repurposed which is quicker and cheaper than obtaining newly quarried stone for what you need.

Giza as one example was created during the Old Kingdom - saw renovation during the much later New Kingdom - and still more additions during the even later Late Period just prior to the Persians conquering Egypt. So as with all things you must first place something in the proper time frame before ascertaining how it might have been made and what technology was involved.

I think it's great that people are using simple tools to show how easy it was for the Egyptians to perform these jobs without modern machinery and disprove those who say they couldn't have done it with the technology available to them back then. I think it says more about there's a huge difference between being Highly Intelligent over being Highly Educated. What's even more impressive is that the structures of the Ancient Egyptians show that they were both. We need to give them the credit they're do. We need to stop saying it was alien technology when in light of the fact that the evidence is right in front of our eyes. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

Is the pattern made by such drilling method compatible with the ones found in Egyptian holes?

But I was told there's no way you could do this with copper tools. Must be some alien alloy and advanced technology off camera.

That does look out of the dynastic Egyptians but we did that. However there’s a couple problems with it. In this video they don’t show how perfect the cylinder is. That would be interesting to see. And it definitely does not solve the problem of how they did it in the tight corners. But obviously something similar to this is how the dynastic Egyptians drilled holes
