I have 4s11 with Viborg gold banana plug. I noticed an improvement in clarity, imaging and deph. Midrange was more centered and bass was tighter. Big improvement over generic cables.

I totally agree with high-end cables. Scientifically, the electron would flow more electronically in the proper direction, as instructed via the arrows on the cable ends.

I like and respect your approach of telling real facts and not the nonsense one experiences by so many calling themselves audio experts ( experts of what ) are the opposite of
Thank you for sharing .

Thank you Tharbarmar for your generous sharing of your experience with cables. Your presentation seems to me simple, to the point, and credible reflecting confidence and sincerity. It’s appreciated.

great video that helps everyone, thank you . everyone should try these studio standard cables that are properly terminated. they are used in studio and the mastering efforts from studio is more easily brought out, simply put its more musical . furthermore it's cheap just play around to find the right matching. in many instances pro cables can outperform much more expensive ones.

Great video Tharbarmar, you appear to have a deeper understanding of cables than just about any other audio reviewer! Very valuable insights.

I purchased the OFC version of the Canare 4S11, called 4S11G. I used tellurium copper bananas. I did not compare it with the 4S11, but I can say the the highs are open and airy, with a wide soundstage, deep bass, and accurate midrange. I play the piano and a C note sounds like a C note: clean, clear, open with little coloration. I have explored more expensive audiophile cables, but have no desire to go back. Also, these cables have low resistance, inductance and capacitance. Lower in I and C than a $3000 set of cables that have a battery pack. Allow time to settle in. At around 100 hours, the depth and 3D imaging become more apparent. The Canare website says allow 400 hours, but they sound great sooner than that.

Hi Tharbamar and thank you very much for your videos! I have no previous experience with audio cables, but after watching your videos, I decided to make my own just for fun. I replaced a QED Silver Anniversary XT with Canare 4S11 made by myself. This cable sounded better in the bass and midrange compared to the QED but had a big loss in highs and clarity, and it definitely needs a long break in period. After about 3 weeks of daily use, the sound become much clear, much crisper and articulated, it really was a surprise. Now I just finished making the Mogami W3082 and after the first 30 minutes of listening I must say that this cable is absolutely gorgeous. I don't know if this needs break in too, but straight out from the first use, the sound is out of this world, it is so amazing! I am thinking now after listening 3082 if it still worth making another Mogami w3104 as i was planning.

I built a speaker cable based on Canare 4S11 and it is astonishing !! it replaced my much more expensive cable and it is the best speaker cable I ever tried regardless of price. I also tried building an interconnect with Belden 8402 and it is ok, but not spectacular. Too muddy and warm for my taste. The Viborg 09G-801 is much better (the cooper interconnect from Viborg). it has much more resolution, but it is not bright. Opens up the soundstage much more and injects air into the presentation. I also had Oyaide Class S USB in my system for the last few years. I agree that it is a great USB cable, hard to beat at any price. Recently I replaced it with Lucarto Audio Albero USB. This one is even better at similar price. Thank you for a great channel! I learned so much from your videos!

I agree on almost all your suggestions but there is something that must be said: usb cables have no impact on sound whatsoever - they just pass digital data. No need to buy fancy usb cable. I’ve seen recording studios with $10k monitors, hi-end preamps and consoles and pretty inexpensive but solid Mogami signal cables AND basic USB cables. Speaker cables, signal cables matters. USB, optical - they don’t as long as they are well built and cost no more than few bucks.

Good video, thank you for sharing. I’ve tried and heard differences between cables, even cables of same low price ranges like $30. When I get a better one to compare (say, the same $30 versus another that costs $100). I also agree that copper wire works better for me and silver is bright.

Myself and two others I know had to pull the Canare 4S11 Star Quad speaker cables out of our systems. For me it actually caused my amp to overheat. Or more accurately, when the sonic issues were identified by all of us, the replacement cables allowed me to run at a higher level without the overheating problem I was having. I measured over 4db additional dynamic range. I went to some shotgunned NOS Monster Cable. Another person I know went to Belden 5T00UP.

If you want a cable that sounds as good as some cables that cost in the thousands for $40 a pair try the Miccah 14 gauge pure copper speaker wire.

Excellent advice. Thank you. I own a couple of the cables your reference from Belden and Canare and I would tend to agree they are very good quality.

Thank you. Didnt know that those expensive brands are actually made by OEM factories.

I purchased the Jib Baobab HDMI Cable recommended for Audio between my Jays CD Transport & Gustard R26 DAC, I'm hoping some Burn in time will improve it as it performs at a much lower level than my Cheaper Chinese quality Cable (it is 1/2 mtr -Jib is 1 mtr) I will update if it improves..

Just buy from Blue Jeans Cable, setup your system and have fun listening! 😎

If your cables sound so good, you don't need speakers.😂
