I was sceptical about this remaster, given that the original version still looks very nice (in some ways I prefer the way it looks with its misty effects, especially with the green shade), but for £10 - if you already own the ps4 game - it's not a bad deal. A lot of work has been done with the textures, models etc. The extra clarity, physics and extended draw distances round things off nicely. It's beyond a remaster and more like a visual remake. If only Rockstar put in the same amount of work with their ports - Red Dead Redemption, I am looking at you!.

I don't think the first Horizon needed this remaster, but for 10$ it's all right. I'd rather have a remaster for an older game like Infamous Second Son, Bloodborne or the first 3 Uncharted games with U4 visuals.

Looks great, improvement are very noticeable. I'm happy for the people that will play Zero Dawn for the first time trough this remaster.

I already got platinum trophy on PS4 and have no interest on touching this game again.

God damn, this is how remasters should be done! The funny, sad fact is that the base models often look way better than most released PS5 games. Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games, however, are on another level in terms of graphics

The remastered version is more like from cinematics, especially Aloy's adult face and her hair floating, the details are amazing and I love it!

A lot of people think Rost looks worse in the remaster. That’s not entirely true. The reason his face is less detailed in the remaster is because he’s supposed to look younger when Aloy was a baby/kid. When’s she’s an adult, Rost’s face looks older and more detailed.

It's great for someone who didn't play the original, for us who did it still holds even on the PS4. And for all of you who compare it to Wicher 3 next gen upgrade that one was free. In a words of many gamers "AstroBot Remaster soon to come"

It’s like modern TV with all the picture enhancement features like sharpness, 4k upscale, noise reduction, smooth motion etc, but ultimately turning off all these features to watch movies in its original form without all these AI details and sharpness. I like the original version way better because it feels natural and comforting to my eyes.

Loved the original...this upgrade is ASTOUNDING...they basically put the old game almost on par with Forbidden West...what a fantastic work...

The graphic difference is very visible. What was already beautiful became even more so. But Aloy is still a big-headed child lol

Damn! That's a HUGE positive difference. THIS is how to do a remaster! If you own the original, $10 is a good deal.
