I wanna make Stranded Deep inside Space Engineers. After about 20 hours of surviving going from island to island you find an island with a station. Inside is a Space Engineer suit, and a survival kit. Then basically the games boring again. Unless I mod the game some more into more of a Rebel Galaxy flow after you build your ship

Hey Im just getting started with space engineers modding and cant seem to find the anima script from the downloads as far as Im aware Ive got everything but there's a chance I might not Im using 2.79 for blender any idea on wither its me not downloading something or a file missing? Any help appreciated Thanks

All I'm looking to do is make it so vents can drain oxygen from tanks if set to depressurize.

Hey Shaostoul I was wondering if with how Space Engineers is now, is it possible to make custom block animation. By that I mean making a gun block play "reloading animation" each time it shoots.

when i do all the add on installs i don't get anything. i don't even se the space engineers add-ons in the list

OK so I'm trying to make a mod that will add in a "Advanced AI and I need to make a custom user interface GUI for one of the block's" how would I do that?

Just getting started with SE and modding in general. I draw objects in 3d for a living so thought this might be fun. If anyone has any tips to go from Solidworks to blender or if i can just use solidworks id appreciate it.

I have no MwmBuilder folder in Tools. Mine is located at: [C:\Program Files Also, when I choose the MwmBuilder.exe file in Blener, it doesn't actually work. I looked everywhere for people who have the same problem as I do, but no one does. I am absolutely clueless on how to fix this, Verify Integrity of Game Cache says no missing files.

Yeah, I don't know why but when I try to get blender to install from the space engineers module zip file it doesn't show up in the add-ons category list. I think it's installing due to a line of text that flashes across the blender UI, but I can't find anyway to actually interact with the space engineers module. Help would be much appreciated.

hey shao just watched all of your videos... had a few questions if you dont mind me bugging you lol.... 1) how does one figure out how to make textures so i got something to apply to an object? 2) when making say a gattling gun mod, do you need to bas your model off of the SE gatling gun? can i use say a gyroscope (just for lack of example) and do i need to have all the other various parts of it or can i just add gattlinturret and say projectile? thanks in advance...also i cannot get the mirror function to work...not sure on even what to do to get it to work properly...

It seems that Harag's plugin is not working with Blender 2.8, or at least for me. It is asking for me to upgrade to version 2.8x. when i am running 2.8 (as of 9-1-19). any assistance? I do not know if it is an issue with Harag's plugin or my version of blender.

hey Shao, just wondering, how do i make a copy of a vanilla item for example a vanilla thruster, edit its stats and make it available for use without interfering with the original. I wish I had the time to be truly original but my life is so busy yet I do want to have custom items in my game to suit my desired play style, particularly in terms of rebalancing, i know there are loads of rebalancing mods but I've looked over quite a few and none meet my requirements. Id imagine you would have explained something like this in one of your vids, would you mind letting me know which one or if there is a way to do this without going into modeling?

I know this video was made some years ago but I thought I would mention that there is a delay in audio between the left and right channels of his audio that makes me feel dizzy while watching this video with headphones, not complaining thought I'd just point that out

Actually @shaostol I have another question... after following your mod series I've decided to aim a little higher and create a mod that introduces a different mechanic into the game but part of it lies in a few questions (ok it was more than just one question haha):
1) can an upgrade point and a conveyor point occupy the same point for example if i had a block that in itself existed as an upgrade module, could it also be a conveyor to the same block its upgrading?
2) I've seen how different blocks can be combined, but would it be possible to combine more advanced blocks like for example: combining the function of a gyroscope and a thruster, or combining a storage container with a reactor or a reactor with an oxygen generator, these might sound quite random but they each have some reasoning when it comes to what I intend to do with these things.

I don't understand. download an extra fbx importer even though it comes with the blender plugin? Lol. And There is already an mwmbuilder without downloading it. Its located here?? and there is an mwmbuilder.exe . is it something else?? And do you NEED the Mod SDK?

fbx importer doesn't have one file, it has multiple
