He would be almost out of control with adults on him at times, but me or my brother could get on him and ride with out any troubles . He was the most sure footed horse I've ever been on ...

Just saw this 4 yrs too late😂 but for anyone else training their young mustang, take the feeder out of the pen if you got one in there. My boy was fighting like this at the beginning and ran UNDER the feeder, threw it 6 ft high & out of the pen. He had a pretty bad head gash. It’s been a year since then & he still has a scar on his face over his eye. He’s tame now. Real sweet 🩷 But I’m more aware now of “mustang proofing” training areas. Not criticizing these guys (they’re great!), but just sharing experience that might help someone else. God bless mustangs❤️🐴

I think I'd be a good house trainer/breaker or whatever it is. I have pretty good interactions with animals and they seem to trust me pretty quick. I'd love to try to do that. I love horses.

Ok the common threads I have with you guys is weird. I gentled and trained a untouched BLM mustang mare I still have. Solid horse.. I’ve gentled and saddle trained a few .. I kept Shasta tho.. she is a gem..

She's so pretty!!!! And you do amazing to train them from being wild to being a horse that loves people, when I'm older I want to catch wild horses and train them to be school horses and this tought me a lot thank you!!
