How lucky that no one got hurt. Nature is unpredictable, and Yellowstone has many risks that people need to understand.

"Clearly the panic wasn't enough to keep them from grabbing their cell phones and recording" 😂😂😂
I'm surprised they didn't go closer to investigate. 😬😏

« One of the little boys expected a boring tour. » A kid so young being already so jaded about the marvels of nature like Yellowstone is a very sad thing.

This is exactly what keeps Yellow Stone reactively stable from a huge eruption and it’s why the boardwalks are built away from these geysers.

It is so astounding that even in the moment of danger people still feel the need to pick up their phones....!

Super volcano folks. Let that sink in. Unpredictable.

Imagine being oblivious enough that you are still standing close to what you don't know is a gaseous fume explosion....if any of those were caustic, superheated, etc., that would be a painful few days.

Tourists: the park service didn’t tell us this would happen. They didn’t make an announcement. We didn’t know if it would be ok to stand beneath the shower of rocks or nor. Finally we left to see if we could hug some Bison calf’s and take selfies with their mothers.

Good job the whoever was on the camera. Impressive. Great capture. Scary but glad everyone was able to survive through this.
