The thought that old pathways never go away that we just make new ones makes so much sense. It explains why you can have a setback out of the blue. You mind falls back into the old pathways…

A few months ago I wouldn’t have accepted the thought that I could just “live along” the anxious thoughts/feelings because I wanted them to GO AWAY.

I didn’t realize that that’s what keeps them going. Even though now I know, I sometimes fall back into old habits. So yes.. I’ll keep adding information and new pathways. 🤓

Thank you for this! I have been feeling like a failure because I keep getting the initial “shocks” and I am still having a lot of anxiety eventhough I have started new paths. They way you put it that we aren’t deleting the old path makes total sense as to why I am experiencing this. This was the boost I needed to keep going with creating new wiring.

Even when you understand the principles and mechanism putting it to work, and tailoring it is still a lot of trial and error. But as you said, its doesn't live în a void.

I was a nurse for 30yrs and have a health anxiety. My brain was trained to think of what symptoms might be and I wonder if anyone has that too

I only have chest tingling sensations left...no anxiety for weeks. Trying to have patience is difficult. I am able to do anything just can't seem to let go of whatever is causing this.
