Hey Larry! So glad to see some new vids from you. My amps are hand wired and upgraded monoblocks. It absolutely makes a difference. A PCB is just a template for me where I connect the leads so it’s hardwired using silver solder. Thanks for the great vid.

Hi Larry, you covered it very well! Integration on a board serves cheaper production costs in every area, allows easier marketing and manufacturing on a much larger scale with much lower skilled workforce. It's taking the human as much out from the manufacturing process as possible. Good for lowering process & keeping costs low. Same thing as the fast food in the food industry - cheaper, faster, you don't need a master chef at a hambi joint, just follow a preset business model and receive the truckloads of pre-fab frozen patties to microwave and charge to the credit card of the guy sitting in his car ready to receive his lunch in a bag. Serves the purpose when you are hungry and no time for proper lunch, but ain't a substitute for a proper meal.

I love this type of build, if you know a little bit about circuits you can follow the path the signal travels all the way from the input to the output. Personally I have a R2R transistor ladder DAC and a tube amp.. love the sound. Very liquid and non-fatiguing.

I really wish manufacturers would stop nickel plating every lead. If they left it bare copper you would hear a huge increase in fidelity. I believe this would make an even bigger difference than hard wiring. Also stop using so many of those nickel plated jumpers on the board.

you don't have a clue about audio engineering , and shouldn't be giving an opinion on something you know absolutely nothing about . I have a high end hardwirrd amplifier and still shit . ATC SCM ASL MONITORS sound more real than any passive speakers connected to some type of amplifier .
