Go to White Rock Lake after dark and all you will likely see is your car being driven away after you get robbed...

The story I heard of the Goat Mans Bridge was that a black man who took care of goats was hung from a tree there and he’s the one who haunts it.

Lady of the lake stories occur all over the world. Not just White Rock lake.

Thank you. I grew up in Dallas. Some I knew of, some I didn't. Great video

I've been to Goat Man's bridge once during midnight. It's definitely a creepy place to be at night but didn't experience any paranormal activity.

Why is it always a white dress? Why can't it be any other color?

I've lived in the Dallas area my whole life. Long before the internet I heard about the lady of White Rock lake. There's also a very famous Goat man sighting at Greer Island at the Ft Worth Nature Center. There's even a plaque telling the story at the trail head out to Grear Island.

I had recurring dreams of Flag Pole hill. Interestingly, I didn't think it was a real place. But then I started to wonder if it was and if I had been there before. In my dream, I knew the general location, but it was a few miles away. I mentioned this dream on Facebook and a friend was like, 'You mean Flag Pole hill?' I was like, that's a real place? When he told me exactly where it was, I realized that I ran there with my friend like 20 years ago!

I've lived in Dallas for over 66 years and the only one I've heard about was the lady of the lake (White Rock Lake). So I have to say that I doubt the veracity of most of these "legends."

You want to be scarred, go to a ruff neighborhood in any city - the police can tell you where not to go. Far more terrifying than ghost and clearly more dangerous.

Jefferson Texas has some cool paranormal places to see and you can stay the night in a haunted motel. There are also a few places with weird and creepy oddities.

I’m Texan, I grew up near so many “paranormal, ” places supposedly are. Only ever freaked me out because the hype surrounding it all lol. Including goat man’s bridge in Denton.
