Happy that you mentioned the Marfa Lights. I've seen them, and can say that they are not head lights. Witnessed them playfully chase each other across the ground, and twisting, swirling around each other as they flew vertically far above the surface.

I'm born and raised in Texas. I always love learning more about my home state.

I'm from Corpus and I've visited the ship many times. It's cool, you get to see the barracks, cannons/anti air guns. On some Halloweens they used to let people stay the night. During the day at the bottom deck past the gift shop I've heard sounds of walking and running with rings of chains or something metal clacking. It's widely known as being haunted here.

I like how this new dude doesn't rush through and goes at a nice pace so I have chance to absorb the story :) seriously good presenting (maybe he was once a news ancor?)

The Haunted Train Tracks in San Antonio are pretty creepy. I grew up on the south side of San Antonio and visited several private cemeteries with high school friends for something scary to do at night. I find everything is creepy, when it gets dark.

The Alamo. I never have had a stranger feeling anywhere else I have been. The strange feeling is difficult to explain as it was maybe a dark feeling? Could be the energy from all the lost lives there. Energy emitting from so many lost souls. I felt it in the whole building, not just in one area. Possibly my soul connecting with others from long long ago. The dark feeling almost brought me to tears!

I worked security for the plaza theater like 10 years ago. I personally have had encounters with both spirits there. more notably the lil girl. myself and fellow guards have heard the ball bounce and have seen her multiple times. Across the street is the Camino Real Hotel ( now know as the hotel Paso Del Norte) which is also haunted. ( worked there too) El Paso has so many haunted places you can easily make a Top 10 with El Paso alone.

I have visited the Alamo many times in my life and it never ceases to amaze me how you can feel those people who lived and died there. It's indescribable!!!

If you have an opportunity to come to San Antonio, TX, and want to visit several, " allegedly", haunted locations around the Alamo, and wish to have a drink or two while doing so, take a Haunted Pub Crawl. You may have some surprises you weren't expecting.

I'm from Texas and there are two others I've heard. A personal one for my mom and grandmother is White Rock Lake Park, said to be haunted by "The Lady in White". I've never been at night but I have heard stories of people seeing her (do not let her come close to your car). And there have been stories about people who's ashes have been spread in the lake will come back and roam the park looking for loved ones. My family and it spread my grandmother's ashes there so maybe she's still there in spirit.

Another one is Goatman's Bridge in Denton County, haunted by a half-man half-goat figure. If you bang the metal bride three times in the middle of the night, the goatman will appear. Never been there but it sounds interesting.

I visited The Alamo while stationed at Lackland AFB. A very solemn place. You feel compelled to talk softly. Bullet holes everywhere...pretty amazing experience.

I live in Texas I've been to the Alamo 4 time's. It's actually a huge tourist destination. I mean if it wasn't it wouldn't have a gift shop. And as far as I know closed off to visitors at night. There are night time tours offered of the area around it however I'm not sure if they offer tours inside the Alamo at night. I have heard ghost stories about the place. One tour guide told me she had seen the ghost of one soldier stabbing another. I personally didn't anything ghostly while however on one occasion at my hotel (which was across from the Alamo) around 2 am I did faintly hear what sounded like battle noises outside.

Buddy of mine used to be a tour guide at the Alamo in the 90s. One day after giving his tour, he told the guests to walk around and explore since it was getting late and they were closing soon. He told me that he had been approached by an elderly German couple who had thanked him for his informative tour. The elderly lady even commented of how she really like the actors they had hired who were dressed up as Mexican soldiers that she saw in the long barracks. My buddy told her that there were no actors at the Alamo. She was adamant that she had seen 2 Mexican soldiers dressed to the 9s in authentic military garb. My buddy said that her face went white when he told her that what she had seen were not soldiers, at least not living soldiers. My buddy says that although he's never seen them, other people such as guests, security, and even other guides have seen them. He states that he has heard disembodied voices when he's closed the doors to the long barracks at night. But as usual, there's never anyone around when he turns on the lights. ☠️

Hey, I live in Texas and have gone to the navy ship, when I was younger like maybe 3 or 4 my father and I vivited the engine room and years later he told me he could hear voices and cold air pushing and pulling around him. He told me this after we just watched t.v. where people explained that a blue-eye 'employee' was very good at explaining the use of the engine. To which the actually employee's said there was no one working in the engine room.

The Menger Hotel, which is right across the street from the Alamo, is haunted too. It has total the Shining, old hotel vibes.

The Ritz theater in downtown Corpus Christi needs to be listed, it’s one of the most haunted places in Texas also. I know a couple of mediums who refuse to go near it after seeing the evil that resides inside.

I live in Texas and can confirm the stuff that happens around the screaming bridge is true. I used to work in Arlington and have had to go down the screaming bridge a few nights
