It could be different if you use an SSD. My old windows 7 boot up was pretty quick because my old laptop had an SSD. Can your next windows 7 vs Vista be an SSD?

Windows Vista wasn't an error it was much superior to XP it's more beautiful and full of features I use it, and it's very good better than 7 it just arrived at the wrong time because then it was improved and perfect, but the printed ones were negligent and at the time the pcs were weak

You should do that on a clean installation of Windows (that matters) and also show us System Properties on each boot.

I expect windows vista to win because it is an older OS and older OSes are normally more lightweight so they will boot up faster

I run same experience when I revert-installed my PC from 7 to Vista. I feel like 7 is always like slow, laggy and doesn't run as fast as Vista SP2. After I install Vista SP2, I felt like its more powerful then 7 back then until 8.1 comes
