This Scale Trick is PURE Magic - Light Up the Neck!

Have you ever wondered if there might be some magic trick to moving your licks around the whole guitar neck? Well, there is! And, this lesson shows you the way that you can do it. In this lesson, I’m going to share with you a technique that every great guitar player incorporates into their playing.

This idea greatly increases your ability to move licks across the whole guitar neck.
If you visualize the neck cut in two halves at the 7th fret, one region covers the frets from open to seventh position and the other from seventh to twelfth. Then, by using the note layout principle of the neck apply three options to every lick.

Once this method is developed, each guitar lick (or riff) that you play will have four options covering a different range. The different range options will include a; low tone group, two mid-range groups, and a high range note group.

These are not new notes but rather notes that have been re-organized into different fingerboard positions. Your licks are the same, but their notes exist in; unison, higher or lower octave ranges. Essentially, the notes become displaced.
