Waiting to purchase things is the single most effective way for me to not clutter up my life and save money. Such a game changer!

I second that one about not feeling guilty for leaving a store with nothing. I used to always feel so stressed in stores because I felt like I HAD to find something to buy, especially if I had a gift card. Now when I do go into a store, I feel so much more relaxed, because I know I'm not going to buy anything 99% of the time. 😂 So saves me money and peace of mind! Great video!

Today I feel so good because I donated some stuff I didn't need and it was taken up space.

Oh wow good to know that im not the only one who feel guilty of no buying anything after i go to a store lol 🤣.. thank u for this kind of videos, i always look forward about it... you inspired me and really a big help to me.. i used to be hoarder, buying things bcoz its pretty but then i realized i really dont need it. Now im learning and in the process of doing it. I only go now if i really need something and like u do i wait before i buy it. And most of times i end up not buying it anymore either i forgot about it or i realize, i really dont need it. Thanks to u. 😊😊 keep up the good work

I'm totally with you on keeping credit cards paid off, not buying out of obligation, and simplifying makeup/skincare products. All the wise decisions and self-discipline you're practicing now are setting you up excellently for your future :) As far as letting your body handle sickness, I'm on the same team. I'm a nurse, yet one of the most medication-resistant (for myself) person you'd meet. The body and natural methods can heal so well. All the meds that mask symptoms can cause new symptoms, leading you to take even more meds...it can be a vicious cycle! Waiting 24 hrs to make a purchase--usually I'm decent about that. However, I could definitely be more intentional about Walmart/Amazon shopping. I'm especially tempted by good deals/sales/coupons. Hopefully I'll actually wear that $3 sleeveless chambray dress I bought at Walmart last week...if not I can donate it and bless someone else, right?! Thanks for sharing another great video!!!

Oh hey, I'm in Charlotte too! 👏😻 I love that first point. I never thought about obligatory purchasing before but it's definately something that's changed about me since I started my minimalism journey too!

Regarding the planner: I also watch the Do It On A Dime channel and she has planner ideas and templates that you can print off. You could customize it yourself pretty inexpensively.

Something I’ve realised recently is that if I see an item in our house that I don’t use, don’t need & don’t love I should get my hands on it as soon as possible & put it in a bag I’ve put aside for things I’m giving away. At times if I leave an item where it is I can change my mind & want to keep it for a lame reason. It’s better out of sight & out of my mind. Also I find it useful not not just buy things ‘because I like them’. It’s better if I give more careful thought as to whether I really need something,

I think it is awesome you decluttered your second car. I really wish my husband and I could do that but both of our jobs require to have a car 😐
