This cookbook is like a recurring guest star everyones afraid of.😂

At this point, the cookbook is the 6th member.

Proud of you Mike

Mike deserves this badge. He carried the team the whole way through, took leadership from start to finish and avoided the bickering which Jamie and Barry were doing during cooking.

Michael Brian Huttlestone gets my vote for leadership and organisation skills.

Jamie deserves a literacy badge. He has mastered reading this crazy "cookbook" while Barry and Mike make faces and follow directions

Yes give them each a badge. I thought there were less meltdowns without Ebbers there. Just wondering could you have a soup off? Each of the guys given the same range of ingredients and they have to make a soup and maybe make the bread rolls to go with it. Thanks for more fun guys

As much as I love the battles and badge challenges, it's always nice to see the boys "work together" on a dish

When Mike looked into Barry’s face and said, “Please, please don’t do this” I felt that with my whole self.

Mike should def get a leadership badge, but they did well together.

You can tell there a difference in how they talk to each other when Ben isn't on the side. It's almost like he's their babysitter.

One of my favorite dishes. Was so excited to see you try Russian cuisine and for a first crack at it. That was damn impressive. And as Ben said it's a great dish to have at a dinner. Glad you all enjoyed it and just, just thank you for making my day. This, was the best way I could have started the day.

I love the way this book just hits you with the "cook in oven".

"Use a bigger pan!" I felt that! Jamie ALWAYS uses the smallest pan available and it always causes problems for him!!

It's almost absurd how much Jamie has leveled up

“It’s a pillow with a hole in it.” - Michael Brian Huttlestone, Mr. Organisation, 2021.

Shakespeare couldn’t have put it better.

Give Ben more days off! Now that the pandemic is receding, I hope the gang takes advantage and goes back out into the streets and London shops, their budget challenges were the absolute best!

Here in Argentina we have a 1890 cookbook, each recipe has a different author (friends and acquaintances of the lady who compiled it). Some are like this book you have, other are extremely detailed. Some recipes are amazing, and some wouldn't be considered completely edible nowadays. It's called "Cocina ecléctica" (eclectic kitchen or cuisine, not sure) by Juana Manuela Gorriti Zuviria

I like this almost _Mission:Impossible_ setup of the cellphone, Ben 'on assignment' elsewhere, and the boys have X hours to decipher the old cookbook and get the meal complete before he gets back for tasting.
I think you could turn it into a running segment of 'timed puzzle recipes'.
