Elements of DAX 06-14 Override Filters In Measures

Though almost never seen in production it is entirely possible to call a measure while passing it an Override Filter very much like you would do with CALCULATE(). While for readability purposes it's best to avoid this while creating your real world solutions (it can make code tricky to read, and more importantly easy to misread); it is quite valuable to see this in a classroom if only to discover just how close Measures are to the CALCULATE() function. In this video Brian Grant will walk you through this rarely mentioned feature of Measures.

This helped me understand that a measure IS a reviser.

Does the order of step 1A and 1B matter? If the sub expression is not going to run until both filters have been added to the filter context, it seems there is no difference which ones goes first (1A or 1B)?

Shouldn't this video just be titled "Pandora's Box"?
