If you dont want to type random numbers, just do this:
Put the calc sideways
Type period and In, Error will appear
Now put Rad to release the error and youre done!

This is iOS 15 and you can see that big Face ID lock not there when he “shows” you how to unlock it meaning it’s already unlocked

This only works because Face ID has seen his face and noticed his attention on the phone. It doesn’t work if you’re not the authorised user.
