When I drove from Florida to Arizona, for a travel nursing assignment, we hit the dessert mountains in Az. And I was awestruck at their beauty! I was nearing the time to stop for the night, and the sunset was unreal beauty. Haunting but also, I thought historic! How many travelers saw this on their way from the East to the west and saw this beauty, pretty much unchanged except for natures hands, I was humbled and knew that now a days, humans do not always stop and appreciate and enjoy the beauty that is here. Thank you, for admiring the mountains vistas!

Ya'll are such amazing parents!! 2 kids under 2 and somehow ya'll are still surviving on little to no sleep, literally amazing!! I know that route well. I-8 from San Diego, crossing into AZ via Yuma. Then on to the split where you choose either Tucson or Pheonix. Normally about 7 hrs from SD to Pheonix. Love that drive.
