What is R2-D2’s K:D Ratio?

The galaxy’s most loveable droid is surprisingly murderous, but unsurprisingly, many of his confirmed kills come from his time with Anakin during the Clone Wars. In one mission, he eliminated 42 stormtroopers through methods like incineration, crushing, and ejection into space. Additionally, with D-Squad, led by Colonel Gascon, he blew up a ship, killing at least 20 crew members. But by far the biggest contribution to his tally is from a collaboration with Anakin, in which they took down a blockade ship with a whopping 1,000,005 human and droid crew onboard. In total, R2 has taken down 1,000,251 enemies.

However, there have been two instances of R2 getting destroyed or dismantled and needing to be rebuilt. Bringing his final K:D down to 500,125:1. Not bad, for a tin can.

The saddest thing is that R2, unlike C-3PO, never lost his memory, so he never forgot the horrors he experienced since Episode I. The worst thing is that in the "Legacy" comics R2 is still active, as a member of the Skywalker Family, which means he saw all the characters from the Original Trilogy die, including his beloved C-3PO 😢

In the legends Dark Empire storyline he also set off a chain of events that destroyed a super star destoyer, much of its accompanying fleet, an orbital super weapon and the planet it was orbiting.
