Pixel 5 is the best phone I've ever used by far. Perfect size, beautifull design with the best grip and back touch, great display, great camera and great battery, and phone feels so fast and snappy now than it was back in 2020.
The screen on my Pixel 5 cracked recently on a trip and also got liquid exposure. Because the reparation cost is so high I wanted to try the Pixel 6a and after a few weeks I returned it and I'm looking for repair it or buy a refurbished Pixel 5 instead of buying any other new phone on the market. This phone is so good that i am willing to keep using it for as many years as possible even if i dont get more updates from Google!

Bought this phone few months ago and love the light compact form factor. I can easily use it with one hand. The screen is fine and the speakers are pretty good. Battery life is amazing and the Ui is very smooth. Camera takes some of the best pictures as well. I don't mind the fingerprint position towards the rear and the slow charging speed does not bother me as I charge my phone's overnight. Overall a great phone if you are on a budget

Just gone back from the P7Pro to my P5. For me, it is the perfect phone, both size wise and location of the fingerprint sensor. I couldn't get on with the underscreen one. Nearly 2 days battery, works fine with the Pixel Watch and Buds Pro. Only noticeable difference is the camera, but not by a huge amount.

1. Phone has aluminum core but it is covered with bioresin
2. It definitely has reverse wireless charging
3. The fingerprint reader on the back is much better than those under the screen so I don't see that as a downside

The Pixel 5 isn't a bad phone at all, but Google massively stepped up their game with the Pixel 6 series the next near, then further with the Pixel 7 series

When it comes to a pixel phone, this is the go to for me. Long time android user who switched to iOS a few years back. Pixel 6 and 7 are great phones but that camera visor has to go. I like the fact that the 5 is covered in a soft back material so you don’t even need a case for this thing. Hoping to get one of these to have a pixel phone to mess with.

what?! why on earth would you hate rear finger print sensor? hell, they should bring it back. google wont hv to cut corners and give us shitty optical sensors and will rather give us finger sensors which works, fast and reliable

I wanted to get a Pixel 5 for the longest time now. The main reason I first got it at first was because it was the only way one would still get the free unlimited storage for their photos app when they got greedy with everyone else.

Looking back at it now it’s still the best feeling due to its compactness despite being the same size as the usual iPhone these days, and lighter too! The fingerprint sensor in the back was a definitive plus as well. Really hate I didn’t keep it.

Currently using a pixel 3a still love it but now thinking about upgrading to the pixel 5 just for the wireless charging feature even tho the new pixels are nice and pixel 7a is around the corner don't really want to spend much i deff like this form factor of the pixel 5 and getting slightly better camera performance and battery seem like a decent upgrade especially since they are really cheap now well under 200 bucks think its deff worth it for me thanks for the review!

Bought a mint used Pixel 5 for $142.65. The battery easily lasts 1-2 days, it’s smooth, and has decent cameras.
My only complaint is, the speakers are straight trash. I wouldn’t spend anything over $225 for it.

I have a pixel 3. My next upgrade might be the 5. Not that o don't like the 6 i love the size and the rear fingr print sensor. I'm not about specs and i never get the latest phone so i think from the 3 would still be a good upgrade.

I buy one last week in 2024 and I am amazed with this device! Is another android experience, it has Android 14 and it's great! Probably I'm goin to buy another at the end of the year!
