How Do Taiwanese Beauty Standards Affect You ? The value of beauty in Eastern and Western cultures is actually different. Now that the world has social media, everyone can understand different aesthetics more freely. There is a Chinese proverb called "A white complexion is powerful enough to hide three faults". Later I found out that this sentence is actually full of prejudice. So people who has darker skin are not beautiful ? I think everyone is beautiful ! I hope this epsiode can insipre you .

Hello Jay!!! Another great video about a very interesting topic!! All the girls on the interview were awesome but I liked a lot my fellow country woman from Spain!! It was great to hear her impressions since I wanna really want to visit Taipei and, yeah, eyes colour lenses are non existant in Spain, I was very shocket the first time I saw them and also we don't care if people has monolids or double eyelids. It was also a cultural shock for me when I discovered that it's an important beauty standard in southeast Asia.
