Not only was the public treated to a new video of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this week, there was also a series of articles in People magazine documenting their Hollywood travails. In the opinion of the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, it was just a chance for those close to the pair to make excuses for their failings. ‘Frankly I found it quite hilarious. It’s all these excuses for why things didn’t work out with Spotify,’ he tells Palace Confidential.

I think Victoria Murphy is way too generous with Harry and his wife. She should look at them with a critical eye. Their behavior has been unforgivably atrocious toward both of their families, and they don’t do any, or very little actual charity work.

Richard was exactly right about Harry and Meghan’s attempts to stay in the public eye with philanthropic actions. With these two, it’s never about the charity…it’s about THEM. That’s the difference between them and the RF. The royals always focus on the charity they are speaking for. H & M just focus on themselves personally. Look to Meghan’s speech for One Young World Summit. She didn’t say a word about the the organization, her speech was all about her.

To make a comeback in Hollywood don't Meghan and Harry have to be popular in Hollywood first? That's not going to happen. And I don't believe that the royal family is going to endanger the lives of George, Charlotte, and Louis to let Sussex get anywhere near the Royal Family. After all Megan is quoted as saying, we're only one good accident away from the throne.

Yes People magazine does support Harry and Meghan that’s why I don’t read it anymore. I have also had a subscription to Hello Canada since they first went to print. I will not be renewing it because they favour the Harkells when they write about them. Some reporters and editors still don’t want to see the truth.

Thank you, Richard, for remembering that Balmoral is a personal property, and the royal family is taking a private holiday on their own property. it bothers me that people think they can dictate what the Royals do as a family, in private, and where they stay.

Also...i think perhaps you across the pond dont realize how beloved Queen Elizabeth was to several generations of us Americans. Not all Americans, but largely, we either loved her, or we simply were not engaged with the RF at all. Meghan's actions toward the late Queen are unfirgiveable. She failed to realize that trashing a beloved figure when the trasher has no clout, was stupid. She still fails to realize. As far as Harry is concerned, yes he's physically an adult but he is a puppet and mentally ill. He wont get better until he is away from the puppetmaster because it is not to Meghan's advantage for Harry to think for himself.

I saw part of the video of the Sussexes and it was terribly staged and not only did Meghan, yet again, come across as though she was acting a part but Harry did too. It was cringeworthy and very contrived.
