'They were threats!' Royal experts react to Meghan Markle The Cut interview | Palace Confidential.
The Royal Family were again ducking for cover from another barrage of ‘truth bombs’ from the Duchess of Sussex this week. Meghan gave an extraordinary interview to US publication The Cut, which the Daily Mail’s Diary editor Richard Eden believed amounted to a series of ‘threats’. ‘What was notable about the interview was no so much what Meghan did say, but it was what she didn’t say,’ he told our royal programme Palace Confidential. ‘She made a series of very unsubtle hints that she could say a lot more in the future. It seemed to be clear that they were threats. She was coming across as saying, “I can say these things, I’ve chosen not to.” She even dropped a hint by saying, “I was keeping a daily diary.”’ He adds: ‘The timing, as well – on the eve of their visit to Britain – it’s really shocking in so many ways.’

Tessa’s advice is truly terrible. You do not love-bomb people who abuse and use you. She also seems to think Meghan was smart to come into the royal family and take all the benefit of the fame she was afforded by being associated with them and then attack them as she leaves - Tessa’s moral compass needs resetting.
