3. Make sure RGB range on PS5 is set to Automatic
1. On TV itself, ensure set to auto
Advanced settings, ensure Video Range set to auto
When playing 4k 120, chroma will drop to 4.2.2
This is the better than setting as limited range

1. White balance to Warm 50
2. Clarity
1. Set Super Resolution to off
3. Brightness
1. Leave as is with 2.2 Gamma
4. OLED brightness is subjective
1. Dark room lower, bright room higher. Whatever is comfortable to your eyes.

I appreciate your efforts when updating content like this. I bought an LGC1 and 42” C2 for gaming purposes, specifically on the PS5. And, it’s all thanks to YOU! I’m not going to be a TV genius but man I sure do love my PlayStation. So seeing updated content from you makes me very happy especially when I feel like it was made just for me hahaha. Great video! Very helpful! Do you need to twitch the settings also inside the game optimizer??? Fie example like twitching the white or black?

Vincent - you should show the game optimizer menu itself. It has some other options in there (like setting ALLM to "boost, " black and white stabilizers, etc) that people may be confused about.

thx for that great Explanation...having an LG CX 42 inch OLED since 2020...with Launch Version of the PS5..still running aprox 8-10 hours a Day...no Burn in Syndrom or anything.. #LGisNextLevel

One thing to notice, since a few updates ago, if you see that "Circle and Dot" icon before de profile name, it means one of the AI features are enabled, go to the AI settings and disable the AI power save or AI picture brightness. It has to be done manually on every profile.

Need clarification on some of the updates to LG firmware & game optimizer, that can only be confirmed by checking with professional calibration tools:

*PC mode / 4:4:4 passthrough compatibility for PS5/XSX/PC

*RGB/FULL/limited for SDR XSX
*RGB limited for HDR10 XSX
*Prevent Input delay (Standard-Boost) sync on 30/60fps games within 120hz source signal
