My Marantz AV8802A went out when the power got shut off during a power outage and came back on. I'm in the process of sending it out for repair, but was considering buying either the AV8805A or the AV 10 to replace my 8802A, because I just can't wait for the AV8802A to come back.

As far as Marantz goes I've owned the SR-18 and SR-14EX receivers and never had a problem with them, which is why I had upgraded to the AV8802A.

Was curious if the AV10 is $1, 500.00 better than the AV8805A, and if you think it would be worth it just to get either the AV 10 or the AV8805A?

In regarding only to the audio side... Sabre DAC ES 9018 used inside AV10? Why not at least 9038 PRO? As a top of the line product in 2023, it should have! And where is HDCD decoding? Why did you abandoned this decoder? In audiophile community, we are still spinning HDCD CD's and SACD discs, and for HDCD, we need that decoder. Also...where is streaming and decoding native DSD1024 audio files? This is the level of quality that I expect from a Marantz or Denon AV processor flagship, in 2023. I'm modest! I'm not taking in discussion using AKM DAC AK 4191EQ... I need one AV unit to sound like a flagship stereo, on ALL channels. RCA conectors are made from gold plated brass? This is NOT desirable, because of brass low conductivity. It should be made at least from OFC copper (again...i'm modest...I'm not mentioning silver made connectors...). Talking further...what OP AMP are used? No info here... Also, no info in regarding SINAD.

Device to avoid! Bought new, broke down three weeks later (no longer lights up). Low quality components or insufficient quality control? The after-sales service is a disaster, they received the device 3 weeks ago and still haven't examined it! At this price of product, everything is pitiful!
