The idea is that we are coming into harmony with our true self. Not muscling our way to try to look like someone else!

Harmonizing with your true self is a practice.

How you deal with the things that push you, challenge you and throw you off balance - is the yoga.

How you handle “things” is a great reflection of your true self.

How do you want to be?

How do you want to exist in this world?

***The world needs us strong and in harmony with our true self. ***

This global party is just getting started. Tomorrow is another restful day so do your best today and commit!

Tonight I heard my husband's deep, rumbling Cookie Monster voice as he read bedtime stories to our 3 year old. I practice every night as they're getting ready for bed, every practice is backgrounded by their voices. I love this. Everything coming together. You rock, Adriene! Thanks for what you bring to our lives.

I love how you always know exactly what we're thinking. As soon as I thought to myself "I don't like you right now Adriene", you said "I love you too". I laughed so hard. Also when you mentioned hip dips I groaned out loud, and then you mimicked

I heard the birds outside.
Why am I here? As a 55 year old, post menopausal woman, watching parents suffering after falls, losing the ability to do the things they’d like to, I decided it was time to focus on building strength. I come to the mat every day because after 85 days of consistent practice I already notice the differences in my body 😊. I am working my way through the 30/31 day challenges. Thank you Adriene 😊

I really believe you have started a peace movement, Adriene. I am on day 73 of practicing with the YWA community! I can’t believe how much I’ve changed for the better, I never quite realized all the benefits of a consistent practice. Just happier and stronger all around, mind body soul, and most importantly, much more present. A few mindful breaths and I feel like a kid again. This channel has been such a gift. Cheers!

We're here, another day bites the dust. Hun said today was hard, I was having so much fun, I really don't know what he's talking about. He cusses all the time but I just pout and he's back in and relaxed....thank you loads! 😍

I think this lucky number 13 was my favourite practice so far. I love how it just flew by and I felt so in peace throughout, even though it had its challenging bits. I just wanted to add that I have been practicing Yoga (with Adriene) regularly for several months now and yesterday I was trying on clothes and I had a moment where I just couldn't stop staring at my stomach because the effects of these practices were just too visible. I looked strong and I could even see some light abs drawn on it. I feel stronger with each day and frankly this channel was the best thing I found last year because I am working out and yet it feels like I am just dedicating time for self love each morning. HII! I just wanted to tell my story :) i'm Alisa and 13 years old and my mother already does yoga for 6 months I think. I also wanted to do it and now that I have summerbreak, I started this 30 day yoga journey. I really like to do yoga, especially with Adriene! Thanks so much!

This practice was particularly difficult because of sore abs, but my son kept me going. When we were dipping the hips he kissed my hand and told me, "It's okay mama." Then he left. He came back with a blanket just in time for shavasana. I am actually loving skipping the gym and having family yoga.

Here I was, after a grueling bike workout, thinking what a nice, calm way to end my day, with some peaceful, wind down yoga, what shall we do today, perhaps some downward dog? A mountain pose or two? No, no, instead here I am, literally feeling like jelly.


On another note, thank you for this practice. Though I feel like a slug, I know it will pass, and that after, I will be stronger for it. Also, in downward dog today, I noticed my feet surprisingly close to the mat! Not there yet, but hopefully soon! Thank you for all you do Adriene, and thank you to everyone in this community.

I know this video is a couple years old, but just wanted to leave a comment that I heard my wind chimes singing my whole practice. I struggled to get on the mat today. I kept telling myself “we can do it later tonight” which then turned into “I can do it tomorrow”. Something in me told me NO you need this TODAY. So I begrudgingly pulled out my mat. This is what I needed today, and just wanted to say thank you so much for making these wonderful videos. They are truly helping me love myself which I’ve never done in my 22 years of life.

This evening I was tired, I had a headache and I did NOT feel like coming to the mat. I genuinely thought I might spend at least part of the practice in a resting posture rather than following along. I've just finished the whole practice with no rest required - and felt great while doing it! One of my fav things about yoga practice is how it can challenge your expectations of yourself and your limits without you even realising it's happening! Thanks Adriene <3
