Great stuff. Nice to hear from guys my age with the same goals. It’s really hard to pursue at this time in my life but I keep coming back week after week.

My goal is to earn a blue belt and I’m planning out a gameplan to do it. Adulting really gets in the way.

Tried talking my kids into trying it out so I could make it into the gym one more day a week!

Cool segment...For me, I keep getting surprised at how many plateaus I encounter. Just when I think I'm advancing, I hit a whole new spot where I seem to stall. However, as the guys mentioned, continuing to go usually solves it. Also, my single minded focus on leg locks has helped me. Focusing on one area helped me to eventually start to get more advanced than others who have a different concentration.

You have some really great content! I’m not even your target audience haha, 22yr old female. After my rugby / Olympic weightlifting career ended I’ve been looking for something.. I think Jiu Jitsu would be a great fit. Awesome hearing your perspectives!
