It makes sense that fruits and vegetables help the body lower stress. Humans are one type of animals and we see bright colors for a reason. Colors help humans find foods like fruits and vegetables. Thank you for the video.

Food rich in nutritious packed microgreens and a plant based diet. Decreases inflammation. Thank you for teaching us in your videos.

I've really been stuck on trying to look up certain foods that are high in potassium and magnesium. I watched my step-dad die in a 5-year span from congestive heart failure and those two things, and his salt balance (not having enough salt, actually) were the main things that the doctors were mainly focused on.

Via MayoClinic: Magnesium plays many crucial roles in the body, such as supporting muscle and nerve function and energy production. Low magnesium levels usually don't cause symptoms. However, chronically low levels can increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis.
Via Medline Plus: Potassium helps your nerves to function and muscles to contract. It helps your heartbeat stay regular. It also helps move nutrients into cells and waste products out of cells. A diet rich in potassium helps to offset some of sodium's harmful effects on blood pressure.

Since my 20s, I've been dealing with high cholesterol, chronic stress, and chronic inflammation. But you're right! I just need to eat my fruits and veggies. All of them are wholesome. :)
Thank you Doctor. <3

My gut instinct was that a plant based diet would have show a connection to lower stress. And that there might be certain chemicals/compounds in foods that should be avoided to lower stress but I couldn't say what that specifically would be.
