Great video, enjoyable to watch.
I have been driving a Niro 3 PHEV for nearly 4 years and love it. The main negative is in the winter, the heating just sucks away the electric power, and the "3rd world" manual footbrake I really do not like. I believe the car heater power has been replaced with a new, more efficient technology.
I have ordered the new Niro PHEV 4 but have to wait 20 weeks for delivery, but delivery for the EV 6 is around a year here in the UK.
I would not buy a car without a powered boot, so delighted the new Niro has the feature, but side mirror camera's is one feature I would have liked to see.
Kia have performed miracles from the hired Kia I drove in Boston USA for 6 weeks back in 2005, vowing never to touch another Kia so tinny and awful to drive it was, so well done to Kia now being one of the best car manufacturers out there.

I’m wanting to change my car in January, but don’t know what to buy. Was thinking Kia but don’t know which one, Niro or Sportage, PHEV, Hev or EV. Do mostly urban local runs but also a few longish spins at weekends. I drive a 2 litre TDI at the moment and love it but I realise I don’t need it. Any advise ?? Thanks

Is there a noticeable difference from the interior of the Niro to the mg zs ev do you think . What does 3k and 4 k mean please and thanks for the review 👌

The thing with hybrids is that you wont be looking for a charger (that works!) and paying horrendous electricity prices. With a 13amp supply you can charge overnight and is more than enough for local work.(kids to school and shopping) Most homes will not have the mains supply for a 7kw charger unless its night charging only. Also with the all electric cars as good as they are, the infrastructure is just not there. Government behind the curve yet again, waiting for private companies to take up the cost. That also means different companies with different chargers and costs etc.
So for me it was a no brainer, I ordered my Niro type 3 and now just waiting for it. It also comes with a 7 year guarantee

Can you drive it like a hybrid for long journeys? Or will it drive in ev mode until batteries empty then run on petrol. I've heard it changes to hybrid but I'd like to know what the fuel economy is over a long journey or in hybrid model is

I've got one as a taxi... back seat belts are rubbish don't retract all the way damaging the door.. plus rubbers around the doors in back wear down v quick.. kia ireland won't stand by it saying its wear and tare no thanks not again
