You have more options to take charge. Both the all-new Kia Niro EV and Plug-in Hybrid models have AC charging and DC charging options, and a portable charger can also be used in emergency situations. You can check the remaining charging time on the app or dashboard.

AC charging time is approximately 6 hours. DC charging takes approximately 43 minutes. Once you’re fully charged, the range is approximately 243 miles.

I have a Kia Niro 2023 and those charging times are way off when I pull up to a fast charger it’s usually around two hours and I have a level one charger at my home and that’s generally more than 24 hours to get to 100% although I have been told that 90% is your best place to stop

I went buy kia Forte. Wanted 18% APR for my uncle because of his first time car buying & price is above 5k than the MSRP. No want to negotiate, But i went to other car dealer & bought Honda Accord just less than 1k more. This is huge difference in two vehicles. Rescued !

I just bought a used 2021 Kia Niro PHEV. It was fully charged at the dealer’s but is run down now. I tried going to a public charger… it connects, but does not charge. I get a “not charging” message to check the connection… Not sure what I am doing wrong… could it be the time delayed charging? If so, how do I change the settings?

So, you bought a PHEV and figured with a 40 mile range on electric only, you would be good every day. But, using the full 40 mile range would require running the battery from 100% to 0%. From what I have seen, to go to 100% from 0% is pretty close to 24hrs using a 110VAC charger. So you could only use the PHEV full range every other day as it will have to sit for 24 hrs to regain the range again. The range given by manufacturers is a bit misleading in that respect. Of course if you have a 240VAC set up this wouldn't be the case as the charging time is way less

Just took home a 2024 Kia Niro SX Touring PHEV. Why isn't my battery fully charging? It's been plugged in over 12 hours and seems stuck at 80% for longer than expected. Does it slow down near the full capacity?

I am here for 30 minutes. I was able to charge from 39 to 41%.
Thank God is just a rental car. No electric car for me.
Gas is the future.
