After the engine of a small plane started failing, the pilot made a snap decision to make an emergency landing on a major highway in Minnesota on Wednesday night.

As the plane landed it unfortunately hit a vehicle driving but there were no injuries on board or on the highway.

It was delivering mail-in ballots for a recount and was forced down due to weight.

As someone who recently lost a loved one in a plane crash, I’m just glad they landed safely.

I sometimes wish my Dad had aimed for the highway instead of the field. You’re supposed to aim for fields, but he didn’t have enough room and crashed into a line of trees. In this case no one was hurt and that’s all that matters. Hope gets to fly again.
