I've read that PE firms are also hiring fresh graduates these days instead of candidates with IB experience.. mainly because juniors are more affordable whereas IB folks naturally ask a high price

Hey man, new to your channel. Couple questions:

1) do you see IB hours improving as the younger generation (people who actually have souls) ages? Like, maybe injecting more humanity into the field? And less robotic slavery?

2) people with MBAs who enter IB generally enter at associate level. Is associate level better in terms of hours?

They also leave as pay is not great per hour for number of hours worked. PE pays better and better work life balance. Plus you can get fired at any moment and most never stay more than 2-3 years. Analyst/Associate suck. Only gets sweet at VP or MD where you can have more of a relaxed life. Got to love this channel - remember someone always does something for a reason - this channel is a media platform to sell IB material, which is a good thing
