Well the Siamese cat breed is originally from Thailand. I think Disney was showing representation of the Asian culture…. If the cats didn’t have an Asian accent I bet you’d think Disney was racist for not having representation😂

1) Siamese cats have slanted eyes, 2) Siamese cats are native to Thailand so they incorporated Thai gong/ traditional instruments, 3) there’s no racist lyrics at all, 4) they do speak in accented English but many ppl who don’t speak English as a first language have accents. Yes, it could have been done more sensitively but let’s be real it was the 50s.
