Its got a quad-core MSTAR T12 CPU and a Mali 820MP2 GPU

The screen resolution is correct. The built in Fire TV outputs at 1080P always unless the content is actually in 4K.

I have a Hisense h9e plus and it does 4k really well. The refresh is killer at 240 and it does 120hz. Perfect for gaming

Wow I tried to sell my Toshiba for $200 . No wonder they tried to talk me way down. The value of Toshiba hit the mark with me because I bought a Toshiba CD and DVD player 20 years ago and its still working.

I read recently you can no longer pair Bluetooth controllers with this device (and other fire sticks). Is this true ?

BTW if you're in the market it might be best to wait until HDMI 2.1 TV's come out, they'll have FreeSync (they'll call it Variable Refresh Rate) built in. I think they'll be out in about 6 months, and by that time AMD video cards with FreeSync should be priced at reasonable levels.

I almost got one but I’ve heard to many bad things about the built in Roku’s so i assumed Amazon Fire wouldn’t be much different. You should do a 6 month update on it or maybe even a year.
