Was looking at one of these in a shop & saw that the screen is very non-reflective (matte?) but still had good contrast & tonal range, esp compared to others in the same price range. In fact it seemed much better than any other non-reflective screen & looked good from angles.
Think I may well opt for this one.

Thank you for reviewing this TV - this is one of only two reviews for this TV I could find.

I bought the 43” model and am really impressed with it. Also, I don’t understand people complaining about the UI being laggy - I have an LG OLED TV and it’s about the same speed opening apps, and I think the Toshiba might actually be faster.

The picture quality for the price is amazing, I think. Once you put the picture mode into “Film” it’s great.

I laid it face down on my double bed with the bottom slightly overhanging and attached the stand first time with no problems. Would have been a pain attaching it the right way up with two people moving independently from one another as suggested in the video.

Wouldn't it be easier to fit the bracket to the tv and then the stand? Just got one delivered half price on Amazon, thanks for the review and helping me make up my mind 👍

Some things to be aware of....

1. 350 Nits does not an HDR TV make, even in a darkened room
2. You cannot switch off HDR on this set unless you use an external device that has that capability (NVidia Shield, Amazon Firestick 4K etc). So the built in fire tv stuff will be useless to you if you want SDR instead of HDR where it's offered.
3. The power cord is junk. It's a figure of 8 lead that just wants to fall straight back out of the socket.
4. A lot of the 4k content on youtube is shot at 60fps. This TV is 50Hz.
5. The settings restore themselves! Yes, you thought you'd switched off sharpening? Hah! Not for long...
6. The box it comes in is unlike other big tv boxes. It DOES NOT just lift off giving access...
7. You cannot alter the picture settings of a source that is inactive.
8. There is NO INPUT selection on the remote. This WILL drive you nuts.

I would recommend putting the tele face flat on something soft like a bed or a couch and then put the stand on that way that's how I done it without needing 3 people 😂😂

Great video, I was thinking about getting this tv as ive returned 2 lg tvs due to ghosting after trail on objects in certain scenes and games with certain lighting so I just wanted to see how this tv is with ghosting and after image trailing as I would hate to get this tv and have to return it due to ghosting trail like the 2 previous ones 👍🏻 btw the lg tvs models that had to be returned due to this are the 43uq75006lf and the 43uq8000lb

Amazon are offering this with either LED or QLED for a bit more, would it be better to buy the QLED? I'm not sure what difference it would bring but for £70 more would it be worth it? Many thanks

Thanks for the review, can you confirm if the headset audio output socket is used does this cut off the TV's internal speakers? And if so then does the output vary when using the remote control Vol+ & Vol- controls
