I was always taught to put the bolts down, because I’d rather have the nut and washer hit me than the whole bolt, if it came loose. Which you don’t ever see happen anyway, just thought I’d put my 2 cents in. 14 year JIW Local #75 Phx AZ keep the vids coming brother. Be safe out there

Very nice. Do a video on the hand signals you use. Just did my first job with local 433 recently and man was i confused on all the signals. Guys made it through the day with a loose hook and poorly fabricated iron. Rough first day on a new 115 tms9000-2

I made a bunch of those columns in a shop I use to work at. Pretty dope seeing you put them up. Started working as an ironworker now, any tips on walking the beams? Still nervous as hell doing it lol

Connecting the right way?? I'm not being judgmental in anyway!!!😂😂 but you had the whole made!! With the Spud in your left hand... Reach around with your right and stuff that bolt!!! I'm not going to go into details but yeah I will go into details... Number one you're spreading it from the wrong direction so but yeah you kind of have to do that in this situation.. with all that bent plate. Whatever... Why the hell are you letting go of your Spud.. pulling out a connecting bar..you get a lot of wiggle room there a season connector would have made that connection without pulling out any kind of ranch just a bolt..make that one bolt hand tighten it if you need the wrench to make the second yeah okay but yeah whatever connecting the right way and whatever 🤫🤫🤫

Going around them sideplates is no joke. I do it differently i put a tool in the bottom hole and leg up on that first. Probabaly cuz im not that flexible haha

Sick job but one thing I don’t get is why you keep climbing columns I’m asking not trying to be a dick but when I connect I stay up on the iron and connect the beams and just jump the choker. It’s way easier not that climbing columns is hard

Is there a specific way the bolts go in (left to right, right to left?) Also why do you call out the bolts as you’re putting them in? Looking to get into iron working and wanna know as much as possible before showing up
