Welcome to the official Roll with Cole & Charisma YouTube channel! Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about our experiences as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. On this channel you can catch us doing travel and adventure vlogs, challenges, our inclusion series, couple first times, music, and so much more! We started this vlog to bring people into our lives, to answer some questions about how we navigate the world, and hopefully raise awareness surrounding accessibility and dating in a wheelchair. I had a cousin that was paraplegic after a coal mining accident. He started a contracting company and built accessible houses. The houses sold before he could finish them. That was 30 years ago.
There’s a great need for specialized homes . No one can build these homes as well as someone who has lived experience. ❤

I understand exactly how you feel. We moved to Minneapolis from the east coast after our daughter passed away. Now we are only 10 minutes from our two little grandchildren. Minneapolis has given new strength from our tragedy. We absolutely love Minnesota. It is a very special place! Enjoy!

We left California in June 2024. Saddest day and hardest day. Spent my whole life there (74) me and (78) for hubby. It’s been a large adjustment! I do love being close to my daughter and her family. It had been 22 years since we were near them. This past week we experienced 2 days of snow. Beautiful to watch as long as we were inside. Best wishes in your new home. Glad to hear how happy you both are.

I love that you shared with us. My Dad was paralyzed like Cole, even in an accident involving water at the exact same age. That's what drew me to your channel. Unfortunately he passed away in 2004, and I miss him every day. Watching you both makes me remember all of the memories, good and hard, but we loved each other so much. Much love and prayers sent that things continue to get better and you continue to live in happiness. ❤

Congratulations you guys!! 1. You are blessed to even be able to make a decision on purchasing a home. 2. A lot of people don't consider accessibility in an emergency for first responders or if you have to get out in an emergency. Another thing is age. When you get older, will you be able to continue to go up and down stairs etc. As a first responder I really didn't think of this until I came across beautiful homes that we could not get to a patient.

Ive had health issues and have had 4 surgeries in 5 months but am back to good health. So I know I missed some of your last videos but will catch up!! I (C-6 I/C Quad) have been in my somewhat accessible apt for 24 years ... I have always dreamed of living in a house w/a yard, never imagined it being as difficult but more freedom to change things ... Here there's so much red tape but on call maintenance (as a single woman a must) ... congrats & can't wait for the tour ... Love you two (wish i could talk with you I'll msg )

Congrats on your move. I, too, live in MN and have been here most of my life. As I get older, the cold is harder on my body, but I'll be honest those few years I moved away I missed the beautiful snow. In your previous video Charisma said, "I'm sure there's beaches in MN". To that I say, " We are the land of 10, 000 lakes, of course we have beaches!". I hope you enjoy yourself here in MN as there is something to do all year. Word of advice, invest in clothes you can layer so you can enjoy the winter because it is just as beautiful only colder. Take care you two and Welcome to Min-nah-soda yeah.

I'm happy that you guys are happy in Minnesota. As a foster parent, I found out that foster care is not the same as in all state. As the same as disability medicaid insurance are not the same in every state. Foster care is definitely a joy of wonders but it does have its plus and minus. I did adopt my 2 daughters from foster care. If I had the means also I would've considered surrogacy, Along with fostering the children come with so many baggage from their previous upbringing ang home. Have you guys ever thought about surrogacy?
