How to Test Your Soil pH

I finally tested my soil to find out it's pH. I should have learned what my soil pH was before I even started my 2020 garden. Now I know the pH of the soil in my garlic bed is 7.5, which is slightly alkaline. If you know how to lower soil pH please let me know in the comments! I am researching how to lower the pH of my soil, and all I'm finding is I need to add aluminum sulfate, limestones, or sulfuric acid. I would like to do more research on how to lower the pH of my soil before I jump into it. I am going to do more soil tests.I have high hopes for my 2021 garden. Happy New Year!
