I looked up the gas prices from 1969 until now and every time there's a republican running against a Democrat the price of gas doubles. 2004r 2008 2012 2016 and now. They were low for the years that a republican was running out after Democrat about to max out on his two terms. The price of gas is roughly doubled since 2020 and Trump running. Now that he lost it's it has stayed High. I wonder if there's a connection. Or is it just the oil companies don't want to beat act or lose subsidies.
