Calimala and Crown of Emara are two of my absolute favorite games, love seeing them right next to each other just as they are on my own shelf!

My favorite on this shelf is Jamaica. I just bought Last Will second hand. Looking forward to playing it. I really want to play Crown of Amara also.

Marco Polo is my choice here. I love the tightness and variable player powers from the start. It's ruthless and I like it for that. Close second is First Class, it has so much stuff going on in a small box. Very good shelf by the way. I own a lot of stuff form here that I have yet to play.

Raccoon Tycoon! It's such a great intro into stock market mechanisms. And train games in general. Having the game end when the deck runs out means you can kind of trigger a run on the cards and end the game. It's a delight.

Marco Polo 2 is amazing. If you want a great gateway Euro Crown of Emara is great!

Haven't played many of these but the 2 Marco Polo games are terrific.

We love Raccoon Tycoon, it’s a fantastic game. There’s one tile that lets you buy goods from other players which we hated so much I threw it away. Just didn’t jive with the rest of the game. Other than that it’s nearly perfect for what it is.

I was so confused. You said masters of the renaissance, then called it Lorenzo Il Magnifico card game— next you show a picture of Lorenzo.. then talk about marbles which lorenzo has none. I WAS Confused!!! I never heard of Masters of the Renaissance,
