Everything you need to know SP404 Phat Pads (MPCStuff vs stock )

Are they better for drumming? My SP404 is breaking, will fixing the pads fix it? Do they fix some of the issues from the stock?

In this video I compare the stock SP404 pads directly with the replacement "phat" pads from MPCstuff. I had lots of questions about them and want to pass on the knowledge to inform you on if you should get them!

This is sweet! I didn't know you could replace the pads. Couple questions: (1) are those Chroma Caps? I got some on my Traktor gear from DJTT and am wondering if those are the same kind or something different. (2) Did you put a new faceplate on yours? I notice it's lighter than your buddy's.
