The snake bit scene reminds me of the old Superman series with George Reeves. He confronts a bank robber and the guy starts shooting at Superman and Superman stands there with his hand in his hips with a smirk on his face as the bullets bounce of his chest. Then the robber throws the gun at Superman, and Superman ducks. I’ll never forget that!

The fact that the snake could bite her and she felt pain is odd and incredible. For a moment there i think she liked the snake.

Superman 2 was the best of all including the new ones. Its nice to see it on a large 4k tv fully restored.

The snake isn't biting her. It's a nonvenomous gopher snake and when threatened, they strike with a closed mouth, bumping their snout against predators as a way of warning them. The snake she incinerates is a mechanical model built by Stuart Freeborn for the film.

Pine/Bullsnakes are wonderful and don't make any noise when they crawl but it's just a movie. I've wanted to know what Ursa tastes like too so I can't blame the reptile.
