Reeve really was a hero.
His courage and resilience after his tragic accident was a great inspiration to me. He never gave up.

Christopher Reeve will always be the definitive Superman. He was a symbol of hope to millions of people. He made Superman the iconic figure he is today. That smile at the end always gets me emotional. It’s as if he’s looking at you telling you, “I’m watching over you.” Even after his accident, he lived out his life inspiring others about perseverance and being an advocate for stem cell research. He would be proud to hear that there have been some people who were once confined to a wheelchair who have gone on to walk again. Fly high Christopher Reeve, forever our Superman. 💙❤️

He was absolutely the ideal actor for this classic. That right there "I've been working out" should be one of the top lines in movie history.

“Well, that’s funny. I’ve never seen garbage eat garbage before”

Love it, the most direct trash talk ever....

The flyby and smile at the end always made me feel safe and protected as a kid.

That guy who never stops eating and just turns out of the way with his plate as Rocky goes sliding by is my hero.

In a hundred years time and 17 Superman reboots later that man will still be the greatest incarnation of the character.

I still remember going to the theatre with my father and siblings. We all had a big smile on our faces. Mr. Reeves is the standard for playing this iconic role.

The late 70s and early 80s gave us the Superman movies, Star Wars movies, Indiana Jones movies, Alien, ET, Star Trek movies... what a time for Scifi and Fantasy fans.

Never will there be a more iconic music score than this. You hear that, and you know Superman is coming. These movies age like fine wine.

To all the people who hate this scene: He was teaching a bully a lesson, he didn't actually harm him and then he paid for the damage! What's not to love?
