Welcome to Empires SMP season 2! What should I name my empire?!

Goblins really like treasure, such as gold and stuff. Maybe later down the line, you could build a hoard room, which would be a great place to store all of your valuables too. Add some lore to it. As for a name suggestion for the empire... maybe something like Blacklake. If you use your imagination, the deepdark can be a lake. Or you could even build out a hole in the ground of the deepdark and do that foggy glass effect and make a "lake" like that?

fWhip really is one of the best builders in the community right now, and I think it's because there's consistently this painterly aspect to his buildings, if that makes sense. Everything's always very organic, asymmetrical, he chooses blocks because of their colours and textures rather than what the game says goes together. His builds feel like a sketch, which is a rare skill in a game that forces everything into 90 degree angles :)

A good name for the caves themselves would be the “Glistening Abyss.” However, I would not recommend it as the name for your empire. I also recommend that you have small “boroughs” or neighborhoods throughout the cave instead of one large city in the center of the cave. In between each neighborhood you could add points of interest such as statues, carts with supplies, and maybe even shops. Perhaps at the entrance of your empire you could have a mythical tree with a story behind it. I know many religions and cultures which are either centered around a mythical tree or mention a grand tree. So, it would be interesting to add a great tree at the entrance of your empire and from there write the story of the goblin kingdom.

When you start building over by the skulk(Deep Dark), start building with wool, so you don't have to sneak across everything. Even at the height you have the boardwalk, The Warden can still blast you off with its sonic boom-laser thing and the shriekers, I believe, can still hear you that far up.

Hey the deep darks is good to have the empire
If u can get rid of the sensors and shreikers then u will have a mob proof area

Bcz deep dark can only spawn the warden and no other mob

I would love to see a cave designed like hanging from the walls kinda, building into the walls of the caves with big bridges suspended across the cavern connecting lots of smaller areas

Ohmygosh! I'm so excited to see your goblin empire!! I'm actually building my own goblin world right now. I haven't been able to find anyone else building in a 'goblin' style tho, so I can't wait to see what you do. Also, BONE BLOCKS. Lots and lots of bone blocks. Goblins like bones, take finders keepers very seriously, and everything is treasure. From my experience, clutter will help make your build feel very goblin.

I think lore wise, it would be really fun to be very wary of the warden/skulk and maybe have it spread episode by episode!

Also, perhaps making mineshafts if your own could be fun! Aquifers could also be a thing, and maybe a clock tower since you can’t tell the time underground!

So excited for the new series and goblin shenanigans! For the cave, particularly for some of the deep dark spots, you could put a research camp with tents and campfires to investigate the item

I’m so excited for this! I also really love the endstone in the starter house, no one ever really uses it and it can be such a nice block! For a build idea maybe a big dragon statue to mourn the fallen Ender Dragon as a build at some point would work? Or a Thieves market, because Goblins are commonly known to be very good thieves, and lovers of valuables. Or even a thieves market built around a dragon statue? No matter what you do I’m incredibly excited to see more Empires!
