Shawn, this is not accurate. This guy, who was not there, watched The Phenomenon documentary and misinterpreted things because of a mistake James Fox made with a recreation he did of the event.

I'm extremely familiar with this case, as its my favorite case and one I believe truly happened (despite one person, Penniston, exaggerating a little years later).

The one that shot the beam was nowhere near Halt, it was over the weapon's depot at least a mile south of the group that Halt was in and it shot the beam into the weapon's depot, per Halt and Steve Longero (Longero was in charge of monitoring the weapons depot, so he was the closest one to it).

The one closest to Halt was the one that was "winking like the pupil of an eye" and "dripping some kind of molten metal, " and then "exploded into several pieces."

In the audio, Halt is watching multiple red orbs (the one right in front of him and others further south). The one in front of him had already disappeared before they saw the other shooting beams down further south, at which point he says, "Now we're observing a beam coming down to the ground."

Halt clarified this during one of Greer's National Press Club conferences later, where he stood at the podium and stated the one shooting the beam was over the weapons depot further south (Halt and his men were IN the forest when recording the audio. The weapon's depot was not IN the forest, so nowhere near them. It was back at the base.)

You can see him clarify this at the 50:52-minute mark of The Phenomenon documentary (I don't know where else you can find those clips, maybe on Greer's website, I don't follow him).

James Fox is brilliant when it comes to his documentaries, but he also made this blunder in that documentary when he showed Halt at the podium talking, but then put a recreation of the laser beam at the men's feet, meaning he also misinterpreted Halt's audio, even while hearing him clarify at the podium that it was not near him when the beam came down.

I have this documentary, I'm looking at it right now, and word for word, this is what he says at the podium:
"About a mile, mile and a half away, we see the other object over Woodbridge base, when we were having difficulties communicating with them, but we were able to discern that they were shooting beams into or near the weapons storage area, which caused a great deal of concern."

Steve Longero was there at the base AT the weapons depot as this was happening and he described this in the Capel Green trailer (a documentary that has been delayed for years now but the trailer is here on YouTube).

I'm not one for conspiracy theories and aliens but an interesting connection is just down the river from Rendlesham is the site of the Sutton Hoo burial where an Anglo Saxon king was buried in a ship, the owner of the land saw Anglo Saxon warriors walking around a mound and she employed an archaeologist to excavate it, the largest Anglo Saxon treasure was found, they always wondered where his capital was, in 2007 they found the site of his town and palace, it was in Rendlesham.

This man has lived through a LONG credible military career.
I respect that a lot.
I am immersed in paranormal exploration. I’ve always been interested in the afterlife and energy.
I never spent much time being interested in extraterrestrial life.
I still use my open mind to consider what few credible people have to say.
I can’t deny I see no reason to believe this man is making up any of his alien experiences

Now I agree something occurred, but Pendleton has raised questioning regarding the truthfulness of his statements. For the record, he was the only one who claims to have witnessed and touched a landed craft, and for some unexplained reason he decided it was best to wait 23 years before revealing that a telepathic download of information occurred when he touched the craft. He stated this data played repeatedly in his mind until writing it down relieved him of these circling thoughts which was binary code. On the pages in his journal which he stated he recorded in 1980 the time format he wrote is problematic. Being active military one would expect to find military time format, but instead it's civilian. It raises legitimate questions.

It always amazes me that aliens from a higher civilization that have spacecraft that can travel thousands of light years...and they get here and CRASH! Duh.

From what I've heard regarding crashes, there's usually at least some theory as to what happened. For instance, I've heard two different explanations for the Roswell crash.
One theory said that there were two craft that collided due to interference to their crafts from the radar that was running in the area that night by the RAAF.
The other theory was that the craft was brought down by lightning during a thunderstorm.
It would appear that crashes result from unforeseen problems arising with their machinery. You really can't relate to that?

Here’s my question about this whole UFO interest lately…
What do humans have to offer a more advanced life form? What do we have to offer that they could possibly be interested in visiting earth for? Do I believe there is other life form in the universe, yes. It would be egotistical to assume that humans are the best the universe has to offer. BUT my question still stands. I don’t know, maybe they come here because to them we’re, just a sitcom form of entertainment for them? What are life forms always trying to do? They’re trying to advance, move forward, progress. What about visiting earth is more advanced than them? Don’t say resources. That’s a weak argument. They’re advanced far more than needing anything earth has to offer, or they wouldn’t be “advanced”.
I just think this is just another thing governments use to control citizens through fear, and to siphon off taxpayer dollars.

It's not a matter of "debunking" at all. It's just plain ridiculous as a story.

Reportedly, US military personnel investigated something adjacent to a nuke base in Suffolk, GB. They went into a forest on British soil having been detailed to look into it.

How credible is that? US military deploying on Brit soil? How credible is that?

There's no need. The first thing would be to tell the local police and they'd investigate any "funnies" as a matter of course. Any question of deploying on foreign soil would involve liaison with the M.O.D. and it would be they that would deploy military if it were necessary. It's just a matter of posting some sentries inside the perimeter - just in case it actually involves the base.

Courting couple rocking a car with the lights on. Poachers. Lads whiling away the dark hours with some doobies, a brick of lager and a fire. A rave. An am-dram group making a film....anything...mostly with every right to be there doing "whatever", abruptly confronted with US soldiers? Even encountering Brit police already arrived at "whatever"?

Does anyone seriously believe that a nuclear base commander would so ignore strict protocol with no thought at all of possible consequences - diplomatic or worse? Does anyone believe that foreign militaries do just as they please when posted overseas? Even the lowest rank "grunt" in such a posting is briefed that he is in someone else's country and subject to military discipline regulating behaviour when "off base", and the base itself has all kinds of self-contained amenities for off-duty to minimise any possibility of leaks with the surroundings.

It's an absolutely stupid story which has more holes than a colander anyway. No way.
